New publication

In our new publication we used longitudinal data of the Third German Sociomedical Panel of Employees to examine effects of social support on mental health, consultations of psychologists and psychotherapists and self-rated work ability among employees. After a follow-up of two years people with low social support reported poorer mental health and work ability. An associations of social support and the frequency of consultations of psychologists and psychotherapists was not confirmed. The fulltext is available here.
